Since these posts will all be gone in the morning, who has some ridiculous nonsense to get off of their chest?

For example: I preferred it when Bryan Danielson wore plain burgundy trunks, knee-pads, and boots. I think the flashy new burgundy, white, and black gear is too fancy-dan for his character.

I would be OK with it, however, if he went with a claret-and-blue look, like soccer clubs Aston Villa and West Ham United wear/wore. I went with that colour combo for my Fire Pro edit of Billy Robinson because the Lancashire-based Burnley F.C.wears those colours. I have to say, it looks pretty sharp.

Bix is the only person on the planet besides me who notices what a horrible record Flair has in the red trunks. Some of his worst losses come in the red gear: losing the title to Steamboat, losing the title to Savage, losing the title to Bret, getting eliminated from the '93 Rumble, being forced out of the WWF by Perfect, possibly others I'm forgetting. (Edit: He had the red on at Havoc '94).

The most prominent *victory* I can remember him picking up in the red would be the cage match over Kerry, if I'm remembering that correctly.

What I'm trying to say is, we need mookieghana to give us a detailed chart and analysis of how often Flair wore which colors and how successful or unsuccessful he was in each.

Nothing will top the black tights with neon green polka dots in terms of bad Lawler outfits--not even when he wears Browns colors.

And of course there's this:

If there was an NHL-licensed computer game in the early '80s, that's what the Vancouver Canucks uniform graphics would look like.

I actually own a vintage Canucks Flying V jersey! It gets some pretty confused reactions when I go out wearing it here in Japan.

I disagree about Lawler. Some of his outfits are absolutely horrendous. And some of those sweaters he wore in the studio...

Holy shit you don't say. Lawler's color schemes were eye gouging more often than not. He had absolutely zero sense of style.

I actually liked when Flair would mix it up, he always did it right. Damn, when I was 14 years old, I was all about the outfits and loved when they had new colors/drawings every time they hit another PPV (like Razor, Bret or Michaels).

Don't forget about Lawler's horrible faux-Rock outfits during commentary on Raw.

Actually, in one episode of your favorite podcast, Bruce said The Rock would buy those super expensive shirts and only wear them once on TV, then gave them to Lawler because he thought it would fit his persona. So, if that is true (Bruce, ya know), these were Rock's actual shirts... I'm not gonna go back and verify. ;)

I think I remember hearing that too. :)

BTW, it's not my favorite podcast - it was just the only podcast I was listening to by virtue of it being on the Network.

I listened to the Jerry Jarrett podcast yesterday during a long drive, and I'll probably continue to dabble in other audio podcasts from time to time (the Bob Holly episode of my "favorite" podcast sounds like fun).

I don't give a flying fuck about football and the world cup, but I just saw Neymar take a bump and sell like he was Curt Hennig. This guy seems to be hilarious. Since there was barely any contact, I'd qualify it as totally overbumping and overselling too.

Now that we are on the subject of wrestlers' attires - Jinder Mahal easily has the best fashion sense out of everyone when it comes to using colors and not being basic.

Agreed. Say what you will about his in ring ability, but dude is top tier in the fashion game.
