Shota's actually facing Moxley for the title at Resurgence (technically he's facing the winner of Moxley/Narita at Dontaku, but come on). I'd be shocked if they pulled the trigger on a title change, but I'd also be pretty impressed. Either way, they need to shit or get off the pot with the Musketeers. Having them continually face top guys and come up short every time is only going to make fans give up on them.

The overrun is a relic of the Monday Night Wars when Raw and Nitro were in a dogfight for ratings. This was before DVR, so strict adherence to timeslots wasn't a concern. And there wasn't anything on other channels at 11 PM on a Monday night to be worried about unless the MNF game was going down to the wire. Even after the war ended, the overrun was usually the highest-rated part of the show because viewers had been conditioned to expect the major angles to take place then. That stopped being the case after Raw expanded to three hours. By that point, though, the overrrun had been around or so long that people who grew up on it entered the business and figured that was just the way things were done because it was all they knew.

He wasn't shown up at all in the scuffle, nor did he look so out of control that he clearly had to be fired. To top it all off, the crowd was chanting for the guy the company was trying to bury. Just a massive self-own all around.

He was obviously best known for his sumo career, but I liked his tag team with Ryota Hama. Not much you can say, really. The human body just isn't meant to carry that much mass.

Even the most pro-Punk accounts of what happened backstage at All In describe him as the one who initiated the confrontation with Perry and escalated it physically, so it's pretty inconceivable that the footage would paint him in a positive light. And even if the primary purpose of airing the footage is to advance an angle, I'm sure a desire to stick it to Punk played a role as well. Mature wrestling promoters are so rare they might as well not exist.

Don't forget Tama Tonga. Rock considers Haku to be his Uncle Tonga, and if Haku says he's part of the family, are you going to tell him no?

In fairness, he does have a pretty amazing dropkick. It's no surprise that most of his best matches feature them as the focal point of his offense.
