  1. This is great! Thank you very much for these. Watching MSG 4/24/89, and man, what a trip it is to hear the team of Tony Schiavone and Lord Alfred calling the matches.
  2. The quickest way to find out who owns Memphis besides Lawler would be for WWE to just say screw it, put it all up, and see who gets the angriest
  3. Wyatt's apron ruled. Very Kevin Sullivan-esque. Interesting outcome, too, but I guess it's been a while since Sheamus was in the title scene
  4. I'm probably outing myself as being a little younger than a lot of people here, but I definitely would not know the following names if not for PWI: Mike Quackenbush Reckless Youth PG-13 Kevin Northcutt The first time I ever found out of ECW's existence was actually through one of the Apter mags-- I think it was a holiday issue with Sunny on the cover. Also agree 100% with gingears above on the ECWA Super 8 tournament point.
  5. Hey I'm new here, so I hope no one kills me for resurrecting this thread cus it's been dead for a couple of days, but a couple names I thought of: Scott Hudson -- I really liked that guy. I remember reading he was on some of those early TNA's, but I didn't start watching til FSN. That being said, I don't get how Mike Tenay is so good on WCW but makes me want to die these days. But thats another argument for another time. The Cat -- I fucking love the Cat. I was getting drunk with my buddies one time and talking about wrestling from the 90s, and he goes to me "Fuck WCW. That shit was garbage. Except NWO Wolfpac. And The Cat." I was psyched up when he was in The Wrestler I also want to respond to something upthread-- I think Steve Corino and RVD would've been huge stars in WCW if used properly.
  6. Hey guys, long time creeper, first time poster. I also creep DVDR but those dicks won't e-mail me a password.. whatever. Anyway, all I have to add is: 1) I agree with the inclusion of Inoki on this list even if the basis was the wrestling = MMA argument PURELY because I like to perpetuate said argument when nosy friends find Raw on the ol' DVR and 2) I'm pretty pumped up that someone just dropped Yngwie Malmsteen's name-- I picked a good ass day to start posting
