  1. So that disgusting Invader thing was a worked shoot? Fire Russo.
  2. By the way, that 5:00 minute match between Beulah and Fonzie is more entertaining than anything I've seen on Raw in months. Try to let that sink in for a second.
  3. http://touch.dailymotion.com/video/xu3gp_ecw-beulah-mcgillicutty-vs-bill-alf_sport This one too. I'd have never guessed watching WCW in 1992, that this skinny nerd proudly wearing his patch from refereeing a match in Japan would pull off a 9.5 on the Muta Scale, en route to losing a third of the blood in his body.
  4. That Briscoe-Joe much was some kinda spectacle. Besides Jay's face bleeding off, that was an entertaining 15 minute match.
  5. Fast forward to five minutes if you have the stomach. Work or shoot, this is the most disturbed I've ever been by blood in wrestling. The excessive close-ups of Invader 3 were too much.

The face authority figure is obviously going to be Flair, right? I know he wants to work with younger guys, and there is some value having him with Ziggler or someone else, but couldn't he help more guys get the rub by advocating for them from an authority position?
  7. The nostalgia thing was definitely going on in late '02 and early '03. This was my freshman year at Ohio State and there was a huge clusterfuck with the OHSAA and St. Vincent's-St. Mary's Lebron James over a Washington Bullets Wes Unseld throwback jersey.
  8. Highly entertaining show guys. I love hearing about everyone else's wrestling fandom. I saw Jack White live in 2012, and it was a happening. He is the consumate performer.
  9. I have a hard time, you know, listening to, you know, any Shawn Michaels interview, because, you know, everything he says is, you know, a horrible run-on sentence and, you know, he says you know roughly 500 times during, you know, any interview he gives.
  10. Hennig-Michaels. That match was hyped beyond belief as THE dream match and fell flatter than my third grade girlfriend.
  11. I haven't listened to the two pods this week, but the Santino interview was great. Jericho tried to get him to break a couple of times, and Marella almost did, but he held it together throughout the entire thing. I was laughing the whole time, even more than usual for a Jericho pod.
  12. Hello all. My name is Dustin and I've been a wrestling fan since 1990. The build to Wrestlemania VI is what hooked me and I've been watching on and off since. The first PPV I ever watched live was Royal Rumble 1991 and I was shocked and crushed when Savage cost Warrior the title. I've been primarily a WWF/E fan, and am just starting getting watching into other territories and older WWF. I found out about this board through the wonderful placetobenation.com podcasts, and am happy to find people with which to intelligently discuss pro wrestling. Big shoutout to the Titans Of Wrestling guys. I wanna smoke pot and watch wrestling with Johnny Sorrow. Johnny, you are my Tony Garea of podcasting.
