  1. Hello, everyone. I'm Steve, 36 years old from the Louisville, KY area. I started watching with THE MAIN EVENT show that featured Ted DiBiase vs Ultimate Warrior in November of 1990. I was fortunate enough to grow up in USWA territory and attended many Tuesday night shows at the Louisville Gardens. I grew up on WWF, WCW, USWA, and my favorite was ECW once we started getting the television in early 1996. Nowadays, I mostly stick with wrestling out of habit and because a great deal of my friendships have been formed through a mutual love of wrestling. It's odd because although my interest in current wrestling is probably at an all-time low, the amount of money I've poured into it in recent years has been at an all-time high between show tickets, streaming services, and travel costs. I appeared on several Place To Be Nation podcast episodes last year, as I joined Will from TX on many episodes of the For Your Consideration podcast and I sometimes guest on The Deep Dive with Rich Fann on the Saturday edition of the PWTorch LiveCast. I'm trying to become a more frequent poster, but you can feel free to follow me on Twitter if you like (@NotDrDeath), where I frequently watch older shows and tweet my observations. I'm currently deep diving WCCW after being inspired by the World Cast guys. If you see me at a show, I'm usually one of the more outgoing and friendly guys at these events. I'll be at Scenic City Invitational in August stealing beers from Pete and sneaking off to the diner with Johnny P if you want to come say hello.
  2. Vince's interpretation of the woman wanting in on that battle royal action made me legit LOL in the middle of the grocery store. Good show as usual!
  3. The bit about Jay Saldi's favorite author being Stu Saks got a legit belly laugh out of me.
  4. I recently watched (and live-tweeted) every Raw and PPV match that Bret had in 1995. Even in what is probably his nadir as a singles wrestler in the WWF, Bret consistently had good matches. The Backlund match from Mania XI was the only real stinker of the bunch.
  5. And now the shows are downloadable via SoundCloud.
  6. In the meantime, I believe the shows are available via Stitcher and ITunes.
  7. I'll get in touch with Cam later today to see if he can make that happen for you!
  8. Hello, everyone! Feel free to listen in as Cameron Hawkins (PW Torch East Coast Cast, South Kongress Podcast), Shahid Abdul-Hadi (Stunt Granny), Rich Fann (PW Torch East Coast Cast, PW Torch Deep Dive), and Steve Williams (PTBN's For Your. Consideration) run down the best of 2017 from WWE and NXT! Over 400 votes were cast and the fellas get into some no-holds-barred debate about the results! Plus, John Stockton of the Utah Jazz catches unnecessary slander! The two parts run less than 3 hours total, so feel free to give it a listen and give feedback! https://soundcloud.com/southkongress/sets/best-of-wwe-nxt-2017
  9. Hey, guys. I completely forgot that I'm a member of this fine message board. Thanks to all for listening and giving feedback. Will has done a fantastic job captaining this series and I'm just happy to be along for the ride. Johnny's memory of the most minute moments in a wrester's career is something to behold, and Dylan is a damn tour de force of wrestling knowledge.
