  1. Sorry for falling so far behind here. Awesome build up to Wrestlemania. I loved reading about Andre shoving the money in Fuji's mouth... great visual. Your promos with Savage and Warrior have been awesome! Can't wait to see where you go with some off your big matches. It will tell a lot about which way you are going with the WWF. You have so many choices with the roster you've built up.
  2. I did remove Sunshine from your roster but we do not use any retirement dates for managers. Many of the managers in use now are retired wrestlers.
  3. 1. Updates to Clash of Champions: Ragin Cajun on April 2nd at the Louisiana Superdome We already know that Ric Flair will be defending his WCW World Title against Ted Dibiase and this week, Jerry Jarret opened the show by announcing a second match for the Superdome… a huge grudge match between Ron Simmons, Tony Atlas and Hacksaw Butch Reed against the Anti-American Coalition (Colonel Debeers, The Iron Sheik and the Russian Assassi). The AAC rushed out with Debeers leading the complaints again how he refuses the wrestle people who are obviously inferior to him and who stoop to such levels of steroid use just to make it look like they are in his class. Jarrett would have none of it and said that if Debeers wanted a job after April 2nd, the Anti-American Coalition would face Simmons, Atlas and Reed in the Superdome. As for the Iron Sheik and The Russian Assassin, they both seemed more eager for the bout as they vowed to defeat the weak Americans and prove just how inferior they were. Atlas, Reed and Simmons couldn’t wait for the match and what they were going to do to Debeers after all that he has said and done! 2. Moment of the Night: Ric Flair-Ted Dibiase Situation. We all know that it will be Flair vs Dibiase in the Superdome and whoever comes out with the title will face Jerry Lawler two weeks later in the Mid-South Coliseum. Well this week, Flair was out screaming about how Dibiase could never match up against the greatest that there is, was or ever will be. Dibiase came out and confronted Flair and challenged him to a match right there on TV. Flair was so fired up that he quickly accepted. Dibiase headed to the ring… WHAM… from behind Flair attacked Dibiase and Dibiase went down kind of hard. Flair dragged him up by his hair and tossed him into the ring. Flair was like a caged animal. He jumped on top of Dibiase and started rubbing his face all across the mat. Flair then tossed Dibiase to the floor and again jumped on his back and now he started raking Dibiase’s face across the cement floor. The camera picked up Dibias’s face which appeared to have second degree burns all across the left side of his face. The crowd was stunned at the violence of the champion. Eventually, it was Jerry Lawler who rushed out to the rescue and shoved Flair off of Dibiase. It seemed like Lawler knew better and just cautiously aided the Million Dollar Man. Flair went back to the podium and gave a promo full of screaming and spitting about how this was only the beginning of what he was going to do to Dibiase. Much later in the show, Dibiase, with a towel covering his face, came out and did some screaming of his own about what kind of a man it takes to attack someone from behind and that tonight is just the beginning, and the end will come in the Superdome when he takes Flair’s title. 3. Lex Luger might be in for t he fight of his life! Jerry Jarrett came out again in the second hour of the tv show as Lex Luger had just defeated Ron Bass and was with Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross. Jarrett informed Luger that he would be defending his WCW United Stated Title at Clash of Champions against none other than Lord Humongous. Jarrett pointed out that Lord Humongous is undefeated since arriving in WCW and then he went on to remind everyone just how impressive Lord Humongous was in the Mayhem Match in Miami. Jim Ross chimed in by reminding Lex that it was Lord Humongous that went toe to toe with him for over 15 minutes in that match. Luger responded just as you would expect from a leading babyface… He was going to give it 110% and make all the WCW fans proud of him for being a fighting champion. Later in the show, Lord Humongous destroyed another jobber and Oliver Humperdink told Jim Ross that it was about time his man was given a title match and that Lex Luger better start enjoying his last days as champion. 4. So who is the most popular tag team in WCW and will they be the champs? The Rock n Roll Express wowed that fans once again and had the girls eating out of the palms of their hands in a victory over Dr. Diobolico and The Cuban Assassin. After the double dropkick landed squarely on the jaw of The Assassin and the ref made the 3-count, The Rock n Roll Express headed over to the podium. Jim Ross asked Ricky Morton what it must be like to be the most popular tag team in WCW and have the fans screaming their heads off for them. Morton just smiled and shook his head up and down. Suddenly, the fans cheered even louder as Michael Hayes, Jimmy Garvin and Precious came out. The Freebirds and The Expressed high-fived each other as Michael Hayes started to speak… Michael Hayes: Hey, Hey Hey… Jim Ross… are you forgotten something… Women love gold!!! I know that Ricky and Robert here get a lot of love when they come to the ring each time but I think those cheers aren’t quite as loud as when the Fabulous Freebirds come to the ring. I mean Mr. Sexy Michael and Jimmy Jam come to town and momma’s lock their baby girls up because they know they can’t control themselves around the gold. Now, take nothing away from the Rock n Roll Express but … Suddenly… Ricky Morton takes the mic… Ricky Morton: So if all your saying Michael is that you are more popular just because you are champions, how about we do something about that and the Express takes those titles from you at Clash of Champions. Jimmy Garvin: Now, now boys… let’s not do anything that’s going to get you all little guys hurt. I mean we are all friends. Robert Gibson: I think we are willing to take that risk. It seems like you two are the ones hesitating. Michael Hayes: No hesitation here. We will see you in the Superdome… but just remember that if you want these titles you are going to have to walk down Bad Street and face the music… oh…. And just remember were not some teeny-booper band. As both teams walked off, Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross wondered what just happened but ensured the fans that they are in for a treat at Clash of Champions. 5. Hot Stuff Inc. or Hyatt International Last week we saw Eddie Gilbert walk out on Missy Hyatt and Hollywood John Tatum. He was upset at the kiss he witnessed between the two at Miami Mayhem along with the idea that Missy was spreading that he needed help from Tatum during that big match. As he walked out, Tatum was overheard calling him jealous and stating that Eddie’s jealousy was the reason he left Hyatt International the last time. This week, Tatum wins in tainted fashion over Tim Horner as Missy tripped up “White Lightening.” Just as the post-match interview was about to start, “Hot Stuff” came out and confronted Missy and Tatum. He started by letting Tatum know that he heard his jealous comment and that there couldn’t be anything farther from the truth. He let Tatum know that he was the WCW World Television Champion… the face of the franchise and all Tatum is, is a liar about some Hollywood career and being friends with the stars. Gilbert then turned to Missy Hyatt and let her know that Hot Stuff Inc. only succeeded because of him. Tatum found this all really funny and that if Gilbert thought he was so great then he wouldn’t mind putting the TV title on the line at Clash of Champions. Eddie, with all the confidence in the world smirked at Tatum and said that Missy and he would be there with bells on and that this would be the last we would see of Mr. Hollywood. Tatum, gave Eddie the same smirk and replied, “Missy and I can’t wait and that he is really going to enjoy being the new champion and the face of both WCW and Hyatt International. Eddie and Tatum both began to walk off and then stopped as Missy wasn’t moving. She was really put in the middle of this struggle for supremacy. 6. Update on the arm-wrestling challenge! Last week, Rip Rogers and Terri Powers were laughing it up on the fact that Terri could beat Jeff Jarrett in arm wrestling match. This brought out Miss. Tennessee who came out and challenges Rip Rogers to an arm-wrestling match of their own. Rip said that it wouldn’t be worth his time, but this only allowed Miss. Tennessee wo end the segment by making a bunch of chicken noises. This week saw Rip Rogers get another easy win on tv against some jobber but again his post-match interview was interrupted by Miss. Tennessee who wanted an answer to the arm-wrestling challenge. Rip again said that it wouldn’t be worth his time… but…. His valet…. Terri … would more than accept the challenge! Miss. Tennessee countered by accepting the challenge … and then giving Terri and big shove that sent her back peddling. As Miss. Tennessee headed off, she was again making chicken sounds. Jim Ross was a little stunned at how easy Miss. Tennessee had knocked the muscular Terri backwards and that this should be a great match next week on TV. As Terri and The Hustler were walking off, Terri could be heard telling Rip that she might just be right … you seem a little afraid and I’m getting tired of doing all your work for you. 7. The Roddy Piper-Magnificent Muraco and Jake “The Snake” Roberts Situation Muraco and Snake had an easy win as a tag team this week on tv, but it was at the post-match interview where things really heated up. Muraco and Snake took turns laughing at Piper’s comments from last week where he said that he was going to enjoy beating them both up. Snake and Muraco made it clear that Piper had no chance of beating either one of them up, never mind both of them. That is when old Hot Rod came out and in classic Piper fashion, made sure that Muraco and Snake knew that he was not in the least bit concerned with them and in fact… if they had the guts… he would take them both in right now! Muraco and Snake agreed, and the impromptu match was set. Give Piper his due and his took everything Snake and Muraco had and for the first few minutes he had the upper hand. Make no mistake, Piper is not your typical fan favorite and he broke every rule in the book. We saw eye rakes, closed fists and a possible low blow. The problem was that the ref had little control and eventually the illegal double team moves took their toll and Piper found himself in trouble. The end came when Snake followed up a Muraco piledriver with a DDT and that was all she wrote. Both Muraco and Snake took turns spitting Piper as he laid motionless in the center of the ring and then they had to the podium for another minute or two of gloating as low level babyfaces tended to Piper in the ring. Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone gave Piper some credit but expressed a concern that he better find some help. 8. A new challenger for Madusa? It seems that Madusa’s recent success has drawn the attention of someone new. The segment started with a video of an attractive, fit women who called herself Magnificent Mimi touting the skills of Madusa. She praised her for her victory’s over Wendy Richter. She praised her for his victories over the Japanese star Bull Nakano. She praised her combination of power and speed. She praised her for grit and determination. She even praised her for her beauty… and then it all changed … A video showcasing her beating opponent after opponent is shown … her speed and power are on full display… along with what appears to be full model photo shoots where she is cocky as hell, knowing that she is all that. The video ends with Mimi saying, “Whatever you can do Madusa, I can do just that much better and if you got the guts, I will show you at Clash of Champions! Tony Schiavone lets everyone know that Madusa is not in the building tonight so we will have to wait for her answer but after what he just say, Magnificent Mimi might just be the one women who would give Madusa one heck of a match. 9. Update on WrestleWar 89 on April 17th in the Mid-South Coliseum We already know that it will be “The King” Jerry Lawler challenging for the WCW World Title against whoever leaves Clash of Champions with the belt. We also know that there will be an 8-man, single elimination tournament titled, The Crowning, and whoever wins this tournament will receive a large purse along with a WCW World Title shot anytime they want. Jerry Jarrett announced this week that the WCW roster is so deep right now that wrestlers will need to win a qualifying bout in order to be entered into “The Crowning.” Jarrett let everyone know that the first two qualifying bouts will take place at Clash of Champions as Sting will take on Dick Murdoch and Dr. Death Steve Williams will wrestle former World Champion, Terry Funk. 10. This Week at the Power Plant! The Power Plant is not just for people learning to wrestle. It is also for people looking to move up in the wrestling world. This week, Terry Brunk began working with Mr. Wrestling II at the training zone. Brunk is not new to the world of wrestling. In fact, he has been in the sport for nearly 4 years. He spent part of his early career working with Ed “The Sheik” Farhat in Detroit. Based on that information alone, it is obvious that Terry is ready to brawl. He has also spent some time on the west coast where he honed his skills. It is always interesting to see what Mr. Wrestling II comes up with in terms of characters for Terry but he seems to have that heel look to him.
  4. I think I predicted almost every match incorrectly. That's one thing that makes these games fun as we all see things differently. It could also be that I am not as familiar with some of the new wrestlers like Damien 666 or with the Canadian fan base. Really enjoying how the roster gets juggled a lot in terms of who is a babyface and who is a heel depending on where the show is. This dynamic reminds me of when I was in both Toronto and Quebec in 1993. Toronto seemed very much like New York while Quebec seemed to hate everything about NY.
  5. Once again I am in catch-up mode! I thought the last few weeks were really well done as each show built off of the last. Example: Mike Miller attacks Leo Burke. Mike Miller attacks El Canek- El Canek travels to London to beat Miller- Back on the weekly TV, Leo Burke attacks Miller for revenge. Really great job of keeping things moving forward but always with a new twist and turn. Great choice with Gordy to help get Hulk over. Idol-Armstrong keeps all those old time fans coming back! Sgt-Koloff was really well done. Larry Z's promos are always awesome. I never get tired of a Spudhead comment. I also like how the event in London helped continue angles for the next big card. For now London is new and to give it all away across Seas doesn't pay your bills. Champagne is set to do just that! Hopefully I can stay more on time as AWA is rolling.
  6. MARCH 2, 1989 Highlights from this week’s TV show 1. Jerry Jarrett announces the next two big WCW shows. First, on April 2nd in the Louisiana Superdome will be Clash of Champions- Ragin Cajun which will air live on WTBS. Next, on April 17, WCW will present their next pay-per view event: WrestleWar 89. WrestleWar will take place in the Mid-South Coliseum. Jarrett goes on to announce in the Superdome there will be 4 title matches including the WCW World Title and the WCW World Tag Team Title. Many believe that the reason for the 4 title matches just 2 weeks before the pay-per view is that the Superdome is such a large venue with large costs, that they need to make this one special. As for WrestleWar, Jarrett made it official that Jerry Lawler will get a WCW World Title shot at this event. He could not say that this match would definitely be against Ric Flair as Flair would be defending his title at Clash of Champions. Also, Jarrett announced that at WrestleWar 89, there would also be an 8-man singles tournament known as “The Crowning” where the winner would get $100,000 and a WCW World Title shot at any event of their choosing. 2. Colonel Debeers Interview: If it was even possible, Debeers used this week’s TV show to become even more hated. He started the promo with Jim Ross by announcing just how disgusting WCW and Jerry Jarrett were for making him wrestle known steroid users who are cheating the system and also making him get inside of the ring against the likes of Tony Atlas, Butch Reed and Ron Simmons who obviously are part of an inferior race. Jim Ross was feed up with the nonsense and asked Debeers why, if he is so disgusted by America, doesn’t he just leave. While the fans cheered, Debeers turned Ross’s words completely around by telling him that he is just like most Americans who go through life with blinders on not willing to admit that America is a cease pool of dishonesty and inferiority. Jim Ross, seeing that he isn’t getting anywhere, changes the subject to the Mayhem Match last week and asks if he had anything to do with the arrival of the Iron Sheik and The Russian Assassin in WCW. Debeers with a hearty laugh announces that he is half the reason they are here and their common hatred of America is the other half. It is here that Iron Sheik and The Russian Assassin join the interview. Debeers goes on to announce the formation of the AAC… The Anti-American Coalition. Jim Ross just shakes his head in disgust. Debeers goes on to let everyone known that this is just the beginning and that more members will soon be in WCW as the Coalition will not stop until America sees its wrongs. Iron Sheik takes a turn at downgrading the United States as he spits in disgust followed by the Russian Assassin pointing out how the only superpower in the World is Mother Russia and soon the Coalition will prove to America just how weak they truly are. The fans are basically foaming at the mouth by the time this is interview is over. 3. WCW Title Situation: Ric Flair with Woman and fellow Horsemen, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, were at the interview podium where Ric Flair was having a grand old time recapping his “easy” title defense against Ted Dibiase at Miami Mayhem where he pinned the “Million Dollar Man” right in the center of the ring. Jerry Jarrett who was having a business night came out again and let everyone know that due to the “controversial” ending to the title match between Flair and Dibiase that Dibiase has been granted a rematch at Clash of Champions. Flair was fuming saying that he already pinned Dibiase and that Dibiase doesn’t deserve a rematch. Jarrett rolled the film where Woman was seen knocking Dibiase’s leg off the bottom rope as the ref completed his 3-count. When the video was over Jarrett simply said “rematch at Clash of Champions” and oh… by the way… Woman will be barred for ringside that night. Flair and Women threw a hissy fit as Jarrett exited the segment. Later in the show, Ted Dibiase came out with a big smirk on his face which confused Jim Ross who thought he would be upset over the outcome at Clash of Champions. Dibiase responded that Woman’s action at Clash of Champions proves that even she knows that Flair can’t beat him and when your women has no confidence in you, you really are outmatched. Dibiase can’t wait to take the tile from Flair and then head to the iconic Mid-South Coliseum and face Jerry “The King” Lawler at WrestleWar 89. Lawler after his squash match victory gave a great promo about how he doesn’t care if he faces Flair or Dibiase at WrestleWar because there is nobody in WCW who is going to beat him at the Mid-South Coliseum and that he can’t wait to win the WCW title in front of all his hometown fans! 4. Jake “The Snake” Roberts-“Magnificent” Muraco-Roddy Piper Situation At the Mayhem Match, the reason for Jake Roberts return to WCW became clearer as he sided with Don Muraco in an attack on Roddy Piper. When asked why he did this, Snake in a circle of words basically said that he can’t stand Piper and that he has just been biding his time for when it was right to strike. He goes on to say that he was sick to his stomach each and every day going to work and listening to the obnoxious Piper claim how great he was… how he had to pretend to be his friend… how he had to swallow the bile in his mouth whenever the “Skirt” was around. Finally… one day… Don Muraco called him up and said “Old Hot Rod” is at it again down here in WCW and I think we should do something about it. Oh, the smile on Snake’s face. I came down here and sucked it up one more time on Piper’s Pit… oh how I wanted to smash his skull that night but I waited… waited for the perfect time… and that perfect time was at Miami Mayhem. Now it doesn’t matter to me if it’s me or Don Muraco but one of us is going to end his career. Roddy Piper responded later in the show: Ya know something Jim Ross… when I was in high school, I was voted “Most Likely to Beat Up The Football Team. Everything in my life is Tough! I’m tough. My dog is tough. In fact, my dog is so tough he goes around eating snakes! And you know where he learned that… from me! Jake Roberts and Don Muraco… you two have no idea what you’ve gotten yourselves into. You think you’re gonna come down here and make a name for yourselves by taking out Roddy Piper… Well I don’t think so. I’ve built my name by beating one person at a time. And it will be fun taking you two out. Jim Ross asked Piper if he thinks he is going to need a teammate to help deal with both the Snake and Muraco. Piper responded by saying he already had teammates… Me… Myself and I… and that’s all I need for those two! 5. WCW Tag Team Situation: The only thing we know is that the WCW United States Tag Champs, The Freebirds (Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin) will be defending their titles at Clash of Champions and the WCW World Tag Team Champions, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, will be defending their titles at WrestleWar. The challengers for those matches have yet to be determined. Terry Funk and Dick Murdoch gave The Horsemen all they could handle at Miami Mayhem and deserve a rematch. Ted Dibiase and Dr. Death have never received their mandatory rematch after losing the belts to the Horsemen back in January and never forget that the Rock n Roll Express and the Grapplers are here. This could take a few weeks to get all sorted out and Tony Schiavone might just be right when he said that he wasn’t sure that the Horsemen and the Freebirds would even still have the titles by the time we get to April as this tag division has a lot of teams capable of wining those titles on any given night. 6. Hot Stuff Inc Turmoil? Both “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert and “Hollywood” John Tatum had a pretty good run in the Mayhem Match but that doesn’t mean that everything is cool in the “Hot Club.” Here is a portion of the interview from last week’s show. Jim Ross: Well Missy, it seems like you have Hot Stuff Inc. pointed in the right direction as both “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert and “Hollywood” John Tatum made it to the final eight in the Mayhem Match. Eddie Gilbert: Since when to you start an interview talking to Missy Hyatt. I am the leader of the Hot Stuff Inc. And we would have done even better in the Mayhem Match if this guy next to me did his job! John Tatum: What do you mean? I was the one who saved your butt to begin with. You would’ve been gone just as I entered the ring if I didn’t rush in and help you deal with Lawler… something you obviously couldn’t do on your own. Eddie Gilbert: First of all, I can beat Lawler every day of the week and twice on Sundays… Rember, I am the WCW World Television Champion… the face of the franchise… the one everyone pays to see…. and you say you rushed in to save me? I think you rushed to the ring to kiss Missy! Yeah, you didn’t think I saw that. Missy Hyatt: Come on Eddie… Not this again! I kissed John on the cheek because I was so excited he could help you in the Mayhem Match! Eddie Gilbert: Oh, so now you think I need help! I’ve had enough of this! Eddie walks off as Missy and John just shake their heads! The microphone did pick up Tatum mumbling that Eddie has always been jealous of him and that is why he had to leave Hyatt International the first time. When Jim Ross wanted to know if the official name of their group was Hot Stuff Inc or Hyatt International, both Missy and John walked off. 7. Hustler Rip Rogers/ Terri Powers- Jeff Jarrett Situation/Miss Tennessee Situation This one is just heating up and today on WCW, Rip Rogers was laughing during his promo about how easy Terri could beat Jeff Jarrett in an arm-wrestling match. This brought out Miss Tennessee who was fuming! She told Rip that JJ was too much of a man to do any kind of wrestling against a lady… even one as skanky as Terri! This had Terri wanting a piece of Miss. Tennessee but Rip held her back. Miss Tennessee went on to say that while JJ was too much of a man to fight a women, she knew that Rip was not a man at all and that he would have no problem fighting a women… Rip started to shake his head in agreement then realized he had been tricked and started to yell that he was all man! Miss. Tennessee went on to challenge his to an arm-wrestling match and flashed a pretty impressive double bicep pose in his face. At first, Rip was a little surprised but then tried to act tough by saying that she wouldn’t be worse his time as he was the fittest athlete in the world. Miss. Tennessee ended the segment by saying, “Just what I thought… your not a man… you’re a chicken.” And she left making chicken sounds which fired up both Rip and Terri. 8. WCW Women’s Division It seems like the match between Madusa Micelli and Wendy Richter at Mayhem was well accepted by the fans at that Jerry Jarrett is looking to add a WCW Women’s Title at some point during 1989. The first step is to build a women’s division which Jerry is currently looking into. More on this in the coming weeks. 9. The Monster that is Lord Humongous We can all recall the videos of Oliver Humperdink hitting Humongous with a sledge hammer in some dank dungeon-like setting claiming that his man was unstoppable. Six months later, Humperdink has proven to be right. He has been undefeated since his arrival in WCW and single handedly eliminated 6 wrestlers from the Mayhem match including Sting and went toe-to-toe with “The Total Pacakage” Lex Luger. This week, after nearly killing another jobber, Humperdink spoke for the man behind the mask and said that he wants Lex Luger in the ring for a WCW United States Title match. During Luger’s match this week, Humperdink led Humongous to the ring where they watched Luger defeat Dr. Diobolico. Luger was a little unnerved by the duo on the outside of the ring but it also seemed to fire him up. After Diobolica submitted to the Torture Rack, Luger tossed him away, grabbed the ropes and shook them with all his might. Luger dared Lord Humongous into the ring and Humongous grabbed the rope and was about to step up on the apron as Humperdink pulled him away and shook his head “No” to him man. The two walked away but it seems obvious that somewhere down the road, their paths will cross. 10. The WCW Power Plant Mr. Wrestling II truly believes that size matters! He has been spending a lot of time at the Power Plant working with the big boys… Scott “The Flash” Norton, The Huffman brothers, and the 300 pounder, Anthony Harris. When the phone rang this week and he was informed that he was getting a new pupil, the 5’9, 185 pound James Mitchell, he was a little skeptical. After the first week, it seems like Mr. Wrestling II has been pleasantly surprised. He knows that Mitchell will never be a world champion but his ability on the mic has impressed all at the Power Plant. Mr. Wrestling II reminds us that many smaller guys have had great success in the business. When asked who Mitchell reminds him of, Mr. Wrestling II quickly responded, “Jim Cornette.” If that means Mitchell’s future might be as a manager, only time will tell but Mitchell has earned more time in the WCW Power Plant.
  7. Nice show here which gives us some direction as to where the AWA is headed. Like the promo for the show in England. It reminded me of Georgia Championship Wrestling where they would highlight the main event like you did with Jumbo vs Armstrong. Then they would rattle off a few big names who were most likely facing mid-card guys but the fans were so excited to see them. Great job. Also, I thought the promo with Buzz was awesome. I could just see crazy Buzz Sawyer running in circles chanting Link, Link, Link. Awesome!! Larry Z is so hated and Iceman is so loved right now that this feud is perfect. Also, can't wait to see the next installment of a bloody feud with Carlos Colon. The AWA like it should be in Dawn of War.
  8. PRESENT Miami Arena February 27, 1989 Women’s Match Madusa Micelli vs Wendy Richter As WCW decides the direction of their Women’s Division, Jerry Jarrett decided to judge the fan’s reaction to the two biggest names he could think of. Madusa has been with WCW for a while now but has not seen a lot of action due to a lack of competition. Jarrett decided to pay the daily fee here for Richter and see what the future holds. These two put on a great show with the win coming by way of the Power Bomb by Madusa over Richter. If the fan’s reaction means anything to Jarrett, it is time to get this division off the ground. WCW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Arn Aderson & Tully Blanchard © with Woman vs Terry Funk & Dick Murdoch While Anderson and Blanchard may know every dirty trick in the book, Funk and Murdoch are like a tornado of barroom brawlers that Arn and Tully are struggling to contain. Lucky for the champions that this action spilled out onto the arena floor. While Arn and Tully were bloodied pretty good, the ref had no choice but to count both teams out. With the Double Count-Out, the champs saved their titles. WCW WORLD TITLE MATCH Ric Flair © with Woman vs Ted Dibiase Instant classic! Not going to go into too many details here but this was a match for the ages with a tainted finish as Flair pins Dibiase. Dibiase was able to get his foot across the bottom rope at the count of two, but Woman shoved it off before the ref saw it and Teddy Long completed his 3-count. MAIN EVENT THE MAYHEM MATCH WINNER GETS A WCW WORLD TITLE SHOT AT WRESTE WAR Jim Ross: It is now time for the Mayhem Match. The rules are simple… two men will enter the ring and wrestle for 2-minutes. At the end of the two minutes, another man will enter the match. Elimination can occur at anytime when an individual is thrown over the top rope to the floor with both feet touching the ground. After all 25 participants have entered, the final man standing in the ring will be the winner. Now, let’s get ready for the most exciting hour in all of wrestling… the individual who drew number 1… “Dr. Death” Steve Williams! The man who drew number 2… coming to us from South Africa… the man we all love to hate… Col. Debeers! Dr. Death gets a huge ovation from the crowd as this is his first real action in 1989 but Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross are very concerned about the health of that injured right leg and the fact that he drew such an awful number. Debeers walks slowly to the ring as the boos rain down on him. When he gets to the apron, he demands the house microphone where he announces that he will not get involved right now as it is obvious that Dr. Death is on steroids as no human can be that strong naturally. Debeers adds that he will not fight cheaters. Suddenly, Jerry Jarrett comes up from behind Debeers and announces that if he doesn’t get in the ring, right now, he will be suspended indefinitely. Debeers, understanding where his paycheck comes from, gets in the ring and Dr. Death attacks like a man possessed. The only problem was that Debeers had stalled enough that help is soon on the way. Number 3 is… from Tehran, Iran… making his WCW debut, The Iron Sheik. The Sheik runs to the ring and quickly attacks Dr. Death. After Dr. Death is slowed, we get the most sickening moment of the night as Debeers and Sheik hug each other before continuing their attack on Dr. Death. The siren goes off as Jim Ross announces #4… Sting! The crowd once again explodes as Sting flies into the ring with a Stinger Splash on The Sheik followed by a Splash on Debeers. We get a nice 2 v 2 segment with the babyfaces in control but still no eliminations. Number 5 - …making his WCW debut… the Russian Assassin… Jim Ross hypes up the look of this man … 6’3… 250 pounds in a red jump suit with a red and yellow mask with a long chain around his neck. Tony Schiavone praised ref Pee Wee Anderson who made the Russian Assassin leave the chain at the timekeepers table before getting in the ring. The Russian quickly joins the team of Debeers and Sheik! It seems like we are at war… America vs the World. Unfortunately, it is a 3-2 fight and Sting and Dr. Death are barely holding on! Number 6… Mr. USA… Tony Atlas! The crowd explodes as they know he is going right for Colonel Debeers. The look of fear on Debeers face is priceless and he actually slides out of the ring and starts to run around the ring with Atlas in hot pursuit. The problem for Debeers is that he can’t run for the entire two minutes and Atlas catches him! Debeers is being beaten from pillar to post but it looks like Atlas wants to continue to attack the man behind the racist remarks so he makes no effort into eliminating him. #7…from parts unknown … the mysterious… the undefeated… Lord Humongous. Lord Humongous slowly makes his way to the ring with Oliver Humperdink joining him. The smile on Humperdink’s face just oozes confidence. The monster hits the ring and right away hits a double clotheline on Dr. Death and the Iron Sheik and they both tumble over the top rope. Humongous now has his sight set on Atlas but lucky for Tony, the siren goes off and we get the next entrant to the Mayhem Match. Eliminated… Dr. Death and The Iron Sheik #8… from one of the most famous wrestling families … Brad Armstrong. Unfortunately for Armstrong, his night is short lived. Lord Humongous had just body slammed Sting and left him lying in the center of the ring. As Brad come in to try and help Sting out, Lord Humongous scooped him up and press slammed him out to the arena floor. Lord Humongous is a MONSTER. We have Atlas trying to fend off both the Russian Assassin and Debeers and Sting barely holding on against Lord Humongous. Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik Brad Armstong. #9… from the Florida State Seminoles… the All-American… Ron Simmons. Simmons runs to the ring and the look of fear on Col. Debeers face is priceless. It Is now 2-2 with Simmons and Atlas taking control of Debeers and the Russian Assassin with Sting still going blow for blow the Lord Humongous. #10… one half of the Long Riders… Black Bart. When Bart hits the ring, he decides to make it a 2-1 against Sting as he joins Lord Humongous. #11… from the Sudan… Abdullah the Butcher… with bamboo stick in hand and Gary Hart in tow, Abbie drags himself up and into the ring and goes right for Sting. It is now 3-1 with Sting trying to fight off nearly 1000 pounds a wildness. Abbie hits an elbow drop followed by a double leg drop by Bart as Lord Humongous simply scoops up Sting and goes to toss him over the top rope. Somehow Sting wiggles free and superkicks Black Bart right over the top rope. An exhausted Sting leans on the rope to try and catch his breath. This is a bad place to be in the Mayhem Match. WHAM… Lord Humongous with a kick to the face sends Sting over the top rope. Sting tries to hold on as his fingers are clutching at the rope. WHAM… another boot by Humongous and out goes Sting. WHAM… a huge lariat by Humongous and over the top rope goes the unexpecting 400-pound Abdullah the Butcher. These were easily the most action packed two minutes so far. Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, Sting and Abdullah the Butcher #12… The WCW United States Champion… The Total Package… Lex Luger. Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone hype up the thought that if anyone in WCW can stop Lord Humongous, it might just be Lex Luger. Luger hits the ring and meets Humongous in the center of the ring and the two dominant forces have quite the stare down. This lasts about 5 seconds before the right hands start flying. This is a brawl like no other! While this is still going on, Col. Debeers and The Russian Assassin are barely holding on as Atlas and Simmons are getting the better on that side of the ring. Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, Sting and Abdullah the Butcher Still In: Col. Debeers, the Russian Assassin, Tony Atlas, Lord Humongous, Ron Simmons, Lex Luger #13… Here comes Grappler #1 and he goes right after Lex Luger. Luger, now in the fight for his life, somehow manages to hold off The Grappler and Lord Humongous until he gets help! #14… and help he does get… from Memphis, Tennessee… The King… Jerry Lawler. Lawler heads straight for the Grappler. This two have matched up many times in Memphis and they are brawling like there is unfinished business. The ring now has 3 major fights going on. We got Lawler-Grappler #1 in one corner, Lex and Humongous in the center of the ring and Tony Atlas/Ron Simmons vs Col. Debeers and The Russian Assassin on the other side. #15… Grappler #2… We know right we he is going! By the end of this segment the King is actually on the apron trying to hold off both Grapplers. He is taking big time shots from both sides and it doesn’t look good. #16… from the WCW Power Plant… “The Flash” Scott Norton. The fans are not familiar with Norton but WCW has shown a few videos of what Mr. Wrestling II is doing at the Power Plant so many are excited to see the Flash. Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone do a good job of telling his arm-wrestling background and hyping him up as he moves as quickly as a man his size can. WHAM…a big chest bump sends one Grappler to the floor. Norton hits the ropes and comes off with a shoulder block and out goes the second Grappler. Jim Ross says “and that is why the call him the Fash.” The Grapplers are out in the floor fuming. They grab Norton’s legs while ref Pee Wee Anderson is yelling at them to leave the arena. Eventually the do but Col. Debeers has broken free from his brawl for just a second and nails the unexpecting Norton to the floor. Tony Schiavone reminds everyone that this was Norton’s first time in the ring and that he still has a lot to learn. Tony Atlas rushed over and continues his attack on Debeers! Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, and Abdullah the Butcher, Sting, Grappler #1, Grappler #2, Scott Norton Still In: Col. Debeers, the Russian Assassin, Tony Atlas, Lord Humongous, Ron Simmons, Lex Luger, Jerry Lawler. #17… “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert with Missy Hyatt sexily leading the way… When Jerry Lawler heard this,he was all smiles. He left Luger to deal with Humongous and actually held the rope down for Eddie Gilbert. Gilbert very cautiously entered the ring and WOW, the brawl was on. Lawler’s strap was off and the punches were flying. Gilbert was down but that might have been the safest place for him as he was not going over the top rope. The way Lawler was attacking, it looked like getting at Gilbert was his main reason for coming to WCW. Missy Hyatt was screaming at Lawler and Pee Wee Anderson but there was nothing she could do. #18… Hollywood John Tatum. Missy Hyatt is jumping up and down for her “second” man in the Mayhem match. She is urging him to get to the ring faster but just as he gets there, she goes and gives him a peck on the cheek. Tatum goes right to the ring and goes 2-1 with Gilbert against the King. Also during this segment, the crowd got exactly what they wanted as Ron Simmons hit the shoulder block on Colonel Debeers and Tony Atlas press slammed him over the top rope. Next, Reed and Simmons focus on sending the Russian Assassin over the top rope but somehow this newcomer is hanging on. Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, Sting and Abdullah the Butcher, Grappler #1, Grappler #2, Scott Norton, and Colonel Debeers. #19… Hacksaw Butch Reed… Reed comes rushing to the ring but he might have come to quickly. Waiting right behind the steel guardrail was Colonel Debeers who had snatched the Russian Assassin’s steel chain. WHAM… Debeers levels Hacksaw with the chain and then begins to choke Reed. After nearly two minutes outside the ring, Debeers rolls Reed into the ring and then climbs back into the ring even though he was already eliminated. Debeers then tosses Reed over the top rope and he is dangling by the chain. Jim Ross is screaming that Debeers is going to kill him! Also, Lawler looks to be in trouble against Tatum and Gilbert. #20 … “The Outlaw” Ron Bass… Bass comes running to the ring. Tony Atlas and Ron Simmons see the predicament that Reed is in and rush to his aid. From behind, Atlas clobbers Debeers forcing him to let go of the chain. Unfortunately, this also sends Reed crashing to the arena floor and he is eliminated. Simmons sends Debeers hurdling over the top rope. By now, Lawler is half in and half out of the ring as he is struggling with Tatum and Gilbert. Missy Hyatt is screaming with excitement as she loves what she is seeing. Luger and Humongous continue their brawl as the Russian Assassin takes a momentum to catch his breath as Simmons and Atlas dealt with Debeers for the second time. Bass takes the opportunity to go after Luger in a move that he thought was safe as Humongous would have his back? Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, Sting and Abdullah the Butcher, Grappler #1, Grappler #2, Scott Norton, Colonel Debeers and Hacksaw Reed Still In: the Russian Assassin, Tony Atlas, Lord Humongous, Eddie Gilbert, Ron Simmons, Lex Luger, Jerry Lawler, John Tatum, and Ron Bass #21… from Glascow, Scotland … “the Hot Rod” … Roddy Piper! Piper struts to the ring with a huge grin on his face. Just after Piper entered the ring, Simmons and Atlas hurled The Russian Assassin over the top rope. Simmons and Atlas then rush over to help Luger and together, the powerhouse trio of Luger, Atlas and Simmons are finally able to get Humongous over the top rope but Humongous held on to Luger and dragged him with him. Luger and Humongous both collapse on the arena floor as neither has the energy left to stand up. Piper goes right to Ron Bass and nails him with a low blow. Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, Sting and Abdullah the Butcher, Grappler #1, Grappler #2, Scott Norton, Colonel Debeers and Hacksaw Reed, The Russian Assassin, Lex Luger and Lord Humongous #22… From Honolulu, Hawaii… “The Magnificent” Muraco… Muraco rushes in and goes right after Roddy Piper. These two obviously have unfinished business. Ron Simmons is all over Ron Bass as he has separated from his alliance with Atlas who has gone to help Lawler deal with Tatum and Gilbert. #23… “The Hustler” … Rip Rogers… Rogers hits the ring with Terri Powers leading the way. We now have brawling all over the ring with no set pairings except for Piper vs Muraco. #24… Jeff Jarrett… As Jarrett enters the ring, the group kind of separates again into a few mini-fights. It is Lawler, Atlas and Jarrett vs Tatum, Gilbert and Rip Rogers on one side, Ron Simmons and Ron Bass on the other and Piper vs Muraco front and center. #25… Making his WCW in-ring debut… Jake “The Snake” Roberts… Now things are going to get interesting. At Clash of Champions, Jake Roberts did nothing to help anyone figure out which side of the roster he was going to be siding with but this should answer a lot of questions. Snake slithers in, and with a wry smile takes notice of the landscape. Snake saunters over to the corner with Ron Simmons and Ron Bass. WHAM… DDT on Simmons. Snake points at the fallen Simmons and tells Bass to toss him over the top rope which is happily does. Snake extends his hand to Bass as the crowd the crowd is booing. As Ron goes to shake his hand, WHAM… DDT on Ron Bass and then Snake tosses Ron over the top rope. Eliminated… Dr. Death, The Iron Sheik, Brad Armstong, Black Bart, Sting, Abdullah the Butcher, Grappler #1, Grappler #2, Scott Norton, Colonel Debeers, Hacksaw Reed, The Russian Assassin, Lex Luger, Lord Humongous, Ron Simmons and Ron Bass. Still In: Tony Atlas, Eddie Gilbert, Jerry Lawler, Roddy Piper, John Tatum, Don Muraco, Rip Rogers, Jeff Jarrett and Jake Roberts. While the fans are still left to wonder about Jake Roberts, Jeff Jarrett and Rip Rogers are on the apron trading blows. Tony Atlas comes in with a clothesline to Rogers which sends him flying but before JJ can gather his thoughts, he is shoved to the floor by Eddie Gilbert! We now have Atlas and Lawler vs Eddie Gilbert and John Tatum, Muraco vs Piper… and Jake “The Snake” just slithering around. Atlas has Gilbert dangling over the rope when the ever-so-opportunistic Snake rushes in a sends them both to the floor. It is now Lawler vs Tatum , Muraco vs Piper + Snake Roberts. Lawler with a kick to the gut on Tatum and a huge upper cut sends Hollywood to the floor. Interesting thing here is that Eddie Gilbert seems frustrated with Hollywood Tatum and the two are having words as Missy Hyatt tries to calm the situation. We know have Lawler, Piper, Muraco and Snake left in the ring. Snake slowly heads towards Piper and Muraco… WHAM… another DDT on the Surprised Roddy Piper. Again, Snake extends his hand… this time to Muraco. Muraco with a big grin, extends his… the two embrace and then the Hawaiian Hammer disposes of the fallen Piper! Snake and Muraco close-in on Lawler. But Muraco rushed in a little two fast and Lawler steps to the side, grabs Muraco by the back of the head and tosses him over the top rope. It is now Snake vs The King for a World Title Shot at Wrestle War! We get a good back and forth with Snake blocking a Lawler Pilerdriver with a back body drop and Lawler somehow escaping the DDT by ramming Snake into the corner. After these two have completely worn each other out, we see Lawler with the top rope fist drop which allowed him to eventually send the Snake over the top rope! The winner of the Mayhem Match and the World Title shot at Wrestle-War is Jerry “The King” Lawler. A few notes on the Mayhem Match - First, this is the hardest match I have ever and I hope that I was able to keep things straight and organized. Sorry if it was hard to follow. -I had a few goals in mind and not sure I did them all justice so here is what I was aiming for 1. Continue to make Lord Humongous look unstoppable and start a bit of a rivalry with Lex Luger. 2. Introduce some new “friends” for Colonel Debeers with The Iron Sheik and the Russian Assassin. Hoping this turns into the most hated stable in WCW. 3. Give some clarity as to the direction of Jake “Roberts.” He will continue to be his own man but he has some problem with Roddy Piper that will continue to develop. 4. Most important, the WCW is a business and wants to continue to grow. Having Jerry Lawler win this match and earn the title shot at WrestleWar guarantees a huge pay day as that event is the first time WCW will be in the Mid-South Coliseum. Jerry Jarrett hopes this will solidify the Tennessee wrestling faithful as WCW fans for the foreseeable future.
  9. WCW adds Abdullah "The Butcher"
  10. I am really enjoying this. Great project!
  11. Nice job with all the match details. This is something I really struggle with. I really think you have a done a great job building a roster that works for you and gives you a lot of choices. You have big names who might be on the second half of their careers and up and coming youngsters. Whatever way you go, you can make $$$! Neidhart and Go seems like an awesome matchup!
  12. Windham vs Brett Hart!!! Could watch this everyday especially if Barry was into it.
  13. Always enjoy these title nights. I played a little game with myself to see if I could predict who was coming out with the titles... I called the Olympians title change but love the controversial ending where you can continue the angle if you wish. I thought Adias would still be the tv champ but did not expect him knocked out by the sleeper as the time limit expired. Love these matches. I did have the El Canek-Larr Z match wrong. I know that you enjoy writing for both of these guys and just picked the wrong one. Another great match. I did hove Lethal Larry over Keirn. I just thought Akbar would add too much to the match. I did have Orndorff keeping his title but I thought it might be a DDQ as I know you want to keep them both strong. Love the Missing Link addition. Sawyer and Link would be a wild feud. Nice use of your roster here. I did have a feeling the Fantastics were taking the titles from the Guerreroes but knew it would be a wild ending where anything could happen. Really enjoyed this match. I wish the Guerreroes were on more when I was a kid. What I saw of them was great. Jumbo over Iceman was the one I was surest about. I love Iceman but he is better as a major title chaser then the champ. His charisma allows him to get over without the title. It is one of the reasons I think Jake Roberts didn't have many title runs. Also, I am sure you are building to something bigger for Jumbo. Oh, by the way, loved the Hogan interview. I could just hear each of those words coming from his mouth. Didn't mean to by my booking hat in the AWA, just thought it would be fun to try and pick the winners.
  14. Fall Out From Clash of Champions: St. Valentine’s Day massacre "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase- While his time as WCW World Tag Team Champion with his partner “Dr. Death” Steve Williams might have come to an end, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase might just be the next WCW World Champion. His recent pin of world champion “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair in a tag team match at Clash of Champions has propelled him to a world title shot at Miami Mayhem. Ric Flair was in the middle of an interview on TV where he was talking about how Dibiase had cheated at Clash of Champions and that there was no way Dibiase could ever beat him in a real match when Jerry Jarrett came out and announced that Dibiase would face Flair at the next pay-per-view. Flair threw a big hissy fit claiming that Dibiase didn’t deserve the shot as he has not been involved in any singles matches in over a year. Jarrett didn’t even seem to hear Flair and hyped up the big upcoming match. Later in the show, a real calm, confident and direct Ted Dibiase let everyone know that his first pin of Ric Flair was not a fluke and that in less than a month, he would be the new WCW World Champion. Colonel Debeers- As a result of his racist and Anti-American verbal assaults since arriving in WCW, he has become enemy #1 to the WCW wrestling fans. The anger toward Debeers only got worse after Clash of Champions after Debeers refused to wrestle until WCW replaced Teddy Long as the scheduled referee due to his skin color. On this week’s show, Jerry Jarrett actually apologized to the fans for sending in Pee Wee Anderson as a replacement referee for Teddy Long. He said that he did not want to make the fans at the arena and those at home miss out of the action of Debeers vs Sam Houston so he made the decision to switch referees. Jarrett admitted that this was the wrong choice and that Debeers does not control WCW and that includes who he wrestles and who the official is. When Debeers came out and conftonted Jarrett and said that he will not wrestle any black man, a man on steroids or someone he considers beneath him and that goes for the referee as well. Jarrett simply replied that he was in charge and that Debeers will wrestle who he says, when he says and with whatever referee he says or he can look for another job. When Debeers began to complain, Jarrett walked away! Who came to the aid of Jeff Jarrett? Fans at home were smitten by a fit and attractive black lady during the opening pictures of the crowd at Clash of Champions. Low and behold, this lady came out of the stands to aid Jeff Jarrett who was being double teamed by Rip Rogers and Terri Powers. She came in like a house a fire with a kick to The Hustler and then a huge right hand to Terri. While the crowd loved what they saw, they had no idea who this person was. This week on TV, we find out that she is Miss. Tennessee and that her and Jeff have known each other for some time. Jeff had contacted her when Rip Rogers put him in a No-Win situation when he sent in Terri to fight him. Jeff knew that if he fought back, it would look bad and if he got beat up by a girl when he didn’t fight back, it would look bad. So, he called the only women he knew that could give Terri a fight while he dealt with Rip Rogers. This two seem ready for anything as this one has captured the attention of all of WCW. Is there a relationship between Don Muraco and Jake “The Snake” Roberts? After watching Jake “The Snake” Roberts sit there while Don Muraco attacked Roddy Piper on Piper’s Pit at Clash of Champions, all the WCW fans Jake was talking about Roddy Piper making a mistake that he couldn’t handle when he said that if you play with snakes all the time, eventually you will get bite. This situation became no clearer this week on TV as Snake simply explained his actions at Clash of Champions by saying that every decision that a snake makes has been well thought out and planned. With both Snake, Piper and Muraco spending a lot of time together up north, there could be some underlying issue that we at WCW do not know about. The only thing that we know for sure is that Muraco felt comfortable enough to come on to Piper’s Pit and attack Hot Rod. When Muraco was questioned about his reason for the attack, he reminded everyone that it was Roddy Piper who had hit him with a low blow back at Wrestlecade. What is Jerry Lawler doing in WCW? Jerry Lawler’s well-timed arrival in WCW saved Brad Armstrong from a 3-1 attack from Eddie Gilbert, John Tatum and Missy Hyatt. While it was a good thing for Lawler to be in Nashville, why exactly was he there. Most believe that Jerry Jarrett knows the importance of Jerry Lawler to WCW’s plan to expand into Tennessee and offered him a rather large contract. Besides wanting to bring Tennessee fans to WCW now that Memphis Wrestling has gone out of business, Lawler might also be in WCW to help put Eddie Gilbert’s foot in his own mouth. Hot Stuff recently told Jarrett that there was nobody from Memphis who belonged in WCW and that he should stop wasting everyone’s time by putting former Memphis wrestlers in the ring against him for the WCW World Television Title. Whatever the reason, Lawler is a welcomed addition with WCW returning to the Mid-South Coliseum in April. WCW World Tag Team Title Situation! Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard are the new WCW World Tag Team Champions but the big question is who will there first title defense be against. We already know that the title will be on the line on February 27th at Miami Mayhem. This was an unplanned title change and was forced when Dr. Death recently injured his leg at Wrestlecade. With so little time to get this set up, Jerry Jarrett added a 4 Corner Match on TV with the winner getting the title shot next week. The four teams involved were the Grapplers, The Rock n Roll Express, Ron Simmons & Hacksaw Butch Reed and Dick Murdoch and Terry Funk. This was not an elimination match and anyone could pin anyone. After everyone had a little time to shine, we see Terry Funk come off the top rope with an elbow drop to Grappler #1 who had just nailed Robert Gibson with a loaded mask headbutt. As Gibson staggered into the ropes Funk made the tag which the Grappler did not see. The Grappler was covering Gibson when he was nailed by Funk. Funk simple rolled the Grappler over and got the win. Arn and Tully better be ready for anything as Murdoch and Funk are unpredictable and unquestionably two of the toughest every to step foot in the ring. So What is Going on at the Power Plant: Last thing we heard was that Mr. Wrestling II and Scott Norton were working on perfecting his gimmick as the Flash. While that continues to progress, Wrestling II has also been spending a lot of time with Booker T Huffman and Lash Huffman. These two brothers are large black men with a lot of size and charisma. Mr. Wrestling II is trying to teach these two the ins-and-outs of the business from both the babyface perspective and heel perspective as you never know what the Bog Company wants. With that being said, they are spending time as a babyface team known as the Ebony Express as well as a heel team known as Jive Bros. Mr. Wrestling II has also suggested to Lash that he change his name which he has did to Stevie Ray; a combination of Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles. Mr. Wrestling II believes that WCW might break these brothers up into singles wrestlers and might only need one of them so he has also given them singles angles to work on. Booker T is GI Bro and Stevie Ray is the Masked Heel. Only time will tell if these two make it and what side of the wrestling tracks will they be on.
