If you watch the podcast when they start talking about Morrison/Punk Conrad begins with So Morrison is his replacement (Im paraphrasing) so obviously they cut out some mention of Benoit.

Vader and Jim Ross blocked me, both with good reason. Vader got mad at a comment I made and called me fat boy (I am very fat so he wasn't wrong to do so). In response I started a campaign of images that called Vader out for body shaming me, sending them to HHH, Steph, Vince etc and saying they shouldn't put a noted body shamer into their HOF. I had fun trolling him and some of his fans for a day or two but eventually he blocked me. JR, and this was during the last Presidential election season, tweeted out some fake quotes attributed to Hillary Clinton. I @'d him saying that someone with his influence and reach should be careful about tweeting out "fake news". He didn't appreciate it and came back at me with some harsh words. So I mocked up some memes of JR featuring things he had never said (anti gay marriage and pro ISIS comments iirc) and tweeted them to him and lots of other wrestling people. Well deserved instant block for it, but I like to hope he got the point.

Getting mad at other wrestlers for watching WWE, specifically WrestleMania. I know a promoter who went nuts on a wrestler because he bought tickets to Mania for himself and his son. "Why are you putting money in Vince's pocket? You're just a fucking mark" etc etc. It was so bizarre. And lots of other guys agreed with him. I didn't get it at all. This guy wrestles in front of like 70 people max. That's like the director of a high school play getting mad his leading man bought a ticket to see Hamilton on Broadway.

The Rock is more annoying than entertaining. I know around here or with hardcore fans in general he's not especially celebrated but within the general fandom he's seen as the best thing ever. People anticipate him taking 25 minutes to walk down the ramp (gotta stop and cock your head like a raptor every two steps), then running through his usual schtick on the mic for 45 minutes, then destroying the credibility of whatever heel they decide to have him quickly beat down (most recently Rusev and the Wyatt Family). Honestly I hate it. Every bit of it. If I never saw The Rock in a wrestling ring again I'd be perfectly happy.

Been playing Filsinger Games COTG since the early 90's and plunged into LOW a couple years back. Awesome games. If you have a kid who is into wrestling give them a COTG set. Set up a fed and play together. Some of the most fun times my Dad and I ever had was when we were playing that game. Especially when my Interplanetary Champion Pit Viper downed his chosen challenger Ghengis Khan 7 straight times! Yeah baby!

Yes, that did happen. He got a pretty tepid response which became boos and DB chants before it was over. Smackdown crowd seemed into him thougb. Visibly so, not just crowd sweetening.

I'll second the Hacksaw Duggan vote. He came in to do a show for a small indy I do camera work/commentary for. Super nice guy. He even offered to do some short promos for our cable access show. Very approachable and the wrestlers who worked with him were praising his work afterward. A guy who has a poor reputation and I thought would be a dick, who turned out to be super nice was Carlito. Very laid back and friendly. Maybe I caught him on a good day.
